It’s the season of gratitude, and we couldn’t be more grateful for our incredible faculty and staff. This month, learn more about our new Teacher Assistant, Ashlee Goss, in our latest We Are Wolf!

1. Can you briefly tell us about your background?
I graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English in December of 2007. From there, I immediately started working in a Preschool classroom and have worked in Early Childhood education until I started at The Wolf School in September. I have had experience being a Lead Teacher, Education Coordinator, and Director at the various centers I have worked in.
2. What motivated you to want to work in a school setting?
I have always had a love for teaching. After being in the Early Childhood Education field for many years, I wanted to explore a new beginning in teaching school-aged children. When I came across The Wolf School, I felt it could be a great fit for me!
3. What is the most rewarding part of working with Complex Learners?
The most rewarding part is seeing the daily progress that each student makes towards their goals. It is also rewarding to be a part of that process and to have a positive impact on student learning.
4. What is your favorite part about working at Wolf so far?
My favorite part of working at Wolf so far is getting to know all of the students and families, and forming special relationships with them each day. It has been so fun teaching the students in the classroom and enjoying so many fun moments together.
5. Who inspires you?
There are honestly so many people in my life that inspire me, but if I had to choose who inspires me the most, I would say the students. My dedication as a teacher stems from seeing them work hard, and it is the biggest inspiration!
Welcome to Wolf, Ashlee! We are so thrilled to have you here and know your kindness, positive energy, and dedication to your students is going to make such a positive impact in our school.
