It’s hard to believe 2025 is coming to an end! As we prepare to say goodbye to the year and ring in a new one, we’re still taking time to celebrate all of the incredible new staff who joined our community this year! In this month’s We Are Wolf, read all about Luke Kammerer, our new Teacher Assistant!

1. Can you briefly tell us about your background?
I grew up in the restaurant business, but I studied art and literature in college.
I have a master’s degree in education with a focus on Middle School. I have mostly taught in Middle School settings.
2. What motivated you to want to work in a school setting?
I love to learn new things, and I find that teaching and learning are closely connected. I also really enjoy getting to know students and colleagues. Schools are really dynamic and interesting places.
3. What is the most rewarding part of working with Complex Learners?
I love it when someone realizes that they can do something they thought they couldn’t or when they discover a new perspective. Being part of that process is very rewarding.
4. What is your favorite part about working at Wolf so far?
The Wolf school contains many unique people and personalities.
5. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
My mother’s family celebrates an Italian fish dinner on Christmas Eve.
Welcome to Wolf, Luke! We are thrilled to have your talent and enthusiasm here!
